Chamber Committees & Task Forces

The Madison Chamber of Commerce Committees are specialized groups of members with the same goal. Each committee impacts our community in a unique and specific way in an effort to promote our members, the community and economic development in the Greater Madison Area. As a member of the Madison Chamber of Commerce you are always welcome to join any committee. We are always looking for new and innovative ways to reach our goals. Agriculture Committee

Chair: - Chris Downs - Domestic Seed & Supply

Mission: "This committee will promote goodwill and interaction with the agricultural sector of the area."

Community Promotions Committee

Chair: - Dick Fawbush - Stan's Men's & Women's Apparel

Mission: "This committee will facilitate and coordinate promotions for the Lake area community."

Diplomats Committee

Chair: - (none)

Mission: "This committee will promote a positive community image of, and host fundraising events for the Chamber of Commerce."

Education Committee

Chair: - Charlotte Groce -

Mission: "This committee will promote and support education at all levels and enhance the educational partnership within the community."

Governmental Affairs Committee

Chair: - (none)

Mission: "This committee will promote awareness and involvement in representative democracy."

Industry & Commerce Committee

Chair: - Dennis Slaughter - Krug Products

Mission: "This committee will further the knowledge and exposure of manufacturing and commerce in the community through tours and speakers."

Leadership Committee

Chair: - Ann Garry - Heartland Consumers Power District

Mission: "Growing Future Leaders."

Recreation & Tournament Committee

Chair: - Steve Seitz - Freedom Financial

Mission: "This committee designs and coordinates Chamber activities which promote and increase community participation/involvement. The activities are designed to develop and enrich relationship between the general public as well as engaging in fun competitions."
