What is the Young Professionals Network?

It is a Chamber-sponsored network of area young professionals with a desire to showcase Madison as a prime area to live and work by providing opportunities in the areas of networking, professional development, and community involvement.

Mission Statement: The Madison Area Chamber of Commerce Young Professionals Network serves as a vehicle to help young professionals network and develop personally and professionally in an effort to retain dynamic and vibrant young individuals within the Madison area.

What is the definition of a “young professional” as it applies to this organization?
Of course, anyone can become a member of the young professionals network, but members are usually between the ages of 21-39 (or young at heart!) and work in a variety of career areas.

As a member, would I be required to attend all meetings and functions?
As a member you may choose to attend meetings, networking functions, and seminars as your schedule allows. The Chamber office will send meeting notices and function announcements via e-mail to all YP Network members.

How do I get involved with the Young Professionals Network?
If you’re interested in joining the YP Network, you’re welcome to attend one or two meetings or functions before you make a decision of whether to join or not.

YP Network Dues Schedule

Chamber Members & Member Representatives:
(Each Chamber membership includes the designation for one YP Network member.)

Additional representatives are welcomed and encouraged at a cost of: $15 annually

Non-Chamber Members: $35 annually
